Hello From Cloud Nine

I have many reasons to be so gleeful this evening.  One of which is not the predicted weather for the next three days.  Oh the Pacific Northwest how we love your occasional spurts of February sunshine, but alas we must welcome back the... drizzle.  Not a rejuvenating tropical down poor followed by an extraordinarily gay rainbow.  Nor the random tears of joy a desert experiences in the brightest of sunlight, each drop falls like a magnifying glass intensifying the sunlight of the sky.  Just a hair frizzing, clothes dampening drizzle.
Back to being merry, gleeful and oh so jovial.  Subsequently talking only about all things I love. Discovering my new signature scent for starters. Chanel No. 5 (Eau Premiere).  It is a lighter, fresher, and much softer interpretation of the original and extremely classic No. 5.  Making it the perfect "Sarah" scent, classic but nouveau!

Creating the perfect desert to say the least is my second favorite thing this week.  Last night I experimented with a white cake recipe, tweaking it ever so slightly.  Forget the common pineapple turnover cake, why not cherry turnover?  It was a great success with a very short life span.
Another thrilling weekend occurrence.  I have found my favorite nail polish at a boutique in my neighborhood.  It honestly doesn't get any better than that.  Two reasons.  This nail polish is as non-toxic as nail polish can get.  No formaldehyde, toluene, or DBP.  Color, not carcinogens! Second reason, I absolutely adore their bottles.  I am one of those obsessive people that has to have all her nail polish bottles match.  When I was in high school I was the Versace nail polish girl.  I only owned Versace brand nail polish.  A habit I learned from my mother of course, she was Christian Dior nail polish mom.  My mother avoids nail polish now, but I chose Butter!!

Another reason to be ecstatic, there are three weeks left of the quarter, which in turn means, hello spring break New York edition!
