Think Pink This Valentine's Day

Just what it says

So, I am not a huge fan of the color red.  While it is bold, and usually a statement (don't get me wrong I love red lipstick), red dresses and clothing always border overwhelming and tacky.  The color is usually so heavy and makes me angry.  This could just be something within me, but it's one of the reasons I kind of hate it when V. Day rolls around the calendar.  So much red, everywhere.  It's all so overwhelming.

The perfect date

I think this Valentines Day would be much more adorable if we all just wore and decorated with pink.  It's a color that is pleasing to the eye and the mood.  It's just so much more light and fluffy than red.  Let me tell you, a bouquet of red roses dies next to a beautiful bouquet of pink peonies.

All of you who think pink should get more credit on Valentine's Day, say I.
