Happy August!

August is here. And way to fast, might I add. I can't believe how much life has changed in the past year since last August, right about when I found out I was pregnant, went to Paris with my sister and started getting ready for being a mother. For women, it starts that moment you realize your expecting.

It's been an amazing journey. I won't lie and say I loved being pregnant like the rest of womankind does (I imagine they are lying only because I can't believe they enjoy being bloated, fat and feeling like a stuffed tomato). But despite all that, it was an amazing experience. Some moments were better than others, but in the end I am so glad that I got to do it all.

Being a mom is easy, said no one ever.  Ha! But as difficult as it is, there is no other reality at that moment. You are going to be the best mom you could ever imagine being, because that's what it's all about to you the moment you see that little baby face. No, I don't normally get to shower, paint my nails or sit down for a snack or meal, but it doesn't seem to bother me one bit. Back in the day, I could not have imagined a life where I was not free to jump into my car and go shopping the moment I decided to. Now, I can't imagine that shopping trip without a stroller and a little dude coo-ing while I stare at gladiator sandals (which, by the way, are impossibly hard to shop for).

It's an insane roller coaster that only gets better per second.
