Go Green

I thought it would be fun to have a theme for this outfit post. I decided to try to construct an entirely thrifted outfit. I suppose the angle is, "you don't have to spend a ton on an outfit for it to be cute," but then again cute is a relative term. You may not find this outfit cute. So how about, "you don't have to spend a ton to have clothes on?" I give up.

In thrifting there is the added bonus of being sustainable, if that's your thing. But if digging through racks of used clothes is not for you, I understand, we can't all help mankind by reusing and recycling. You're still a good person.

Here it is...

What I'm wearing: pants: 80s banana republic (goodwill), sweater: 50s vintage (goodwill), fur collar: vintage thrifted (etsy), shoes: thrifted madewell, earrings: vintage (my great grandmother's), sunglasses: 90s thrifted (buffalo exchange), lip color: Revlon "wine with everything", nail color: opi "lincoln park after dark."

Also, check out:

  1. An entirely thrifted outfit? You go girl! That fur collar is the greatest!

  2. These booties are so cool! Why do I never find such cool pieces when I go thrifting?!
