Lady in Red

... Is DAUNCING with me, cheek to cheek. When I was younger, I never really got that it was cheek to cheek, I would just say "chee chee," when singing along. So smart!

Who wouldn't jump for a monochromatic look?

I had been planning this little number for a while. Ever since getting these tights, I knew I wanted to go full force in red. I like that the shades are not exactly the same, but they don't clash.

I enjoyed the one color thing so much, I'm thinking about working it more often.

My mother in law made me this coral necklace a while back. It's pretty darn awesome.

I thought about going all out with some red lipstick, but something stopped me. I still think it could have been cool. I mean if you're going all the way, there is no such thing as overkill, right?

I got this skirt from my grandmother. It's vintage Ted Lapidus and a bit stuffy/put together for me these days (I wore skirts like this when I was in college regularly, so I have a good collection). I figured I'd dust it off for one last run before being packed away for the summer.

It's got a pretty fitted waist, and I honestly didn't think I would ever get back into it after having Jude. So obviously, I'm pretty excited to be flaunting it in these pictures.

What I'm wearing - skirt: vintage ted lapidus // sweater: the gap // tights: american apparel // shoes: manolo blahnik // necklace: classic coastal creations

Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
