Panna Cotta with Berry Compote

Let me tell you about the most frustrating thing that could ever happen. It's spending an entire day making and photographing a recipe, excited about the positive results, just to have your stupid computer not really upload the photos, your stupid self delete them from the camera and then finding out once all that is done.

I had some great photos of this recipe in the making, but alas, you will have to be satisfied with the finished result.

I used this recipe, from David Lebovitz. I cut the sugar in half, but felt it could have used a bit more. I also felt the panna cotta came out a little hard (i much prefer an over the top creamy, pudding style). I believe that might have been the gelatin. Maybe if I cut a bit, next time it will be a little creamier.

I love the trials and tribulations of perfecting a recipe.

For the berry compote, I just mixed frozen berries with a tablespoon of sugar and half a lemon. I boiled the ingredients together on medium.

Bon Appetit!
