You are my Sunshine

So we come to the point of reality, when the short style blogger wears flats. I know I've posted previous outfits while wearing flat sandals, but these are legitimate "ballet flats" and so they should be acknowledged.

Getting me to my point, I am short. Why hide it or beat around the bush? Heels are great, don't get me wrong, I love them. But isn't it refreshing to just slip on a pair of flats and be you in all your glory? To all the short women out there who believe they need to be in heels 24/7, I discourage it. After all, jumping is a lot easier in flats and jumping is an extremely necessary part of your daily allotment of physical activity.

This dress is extremely comfortable and while the length (on me) could be more suited to pairing with heels, the comfort is tripled when wearing flats.

What I'm wearing - dress: 1940's vintage // flats: galo // belt: vintage thrifted // earrings: vintage from etsy // sunglasses: kate spade

I started off with the sleeves let down, but realized folding them up made the dress seem a little less heavy. So mind the inconsistencies!

And now for some jumping, because that's just what blogging is all about.

A really sweet old many asked if he could take our pictures together. We're not crazy, at all.

  1. You should consider blogging about fashion for petite women, and talk about which stores you count on for great styles and a good fit.

    1. Great suggestion. I will try to do that. I do thrift a lot more than shop at chain stores, but it could be a fun challenge.
