Not Quite Winter White

Yesterday we went to a Diner En Blanc event, so naturally, I had to pick out an all white outfit. I never realized how much of a challenge it can be to put together a white outfit. I have a pretty colorful wardrobe and I don't discriminate, but I definitely have less white items that I thought.

Furthermore, this outfit is the exact same concept as the last two I posted. One could assume I am slightly obsessed with the sweater/skirt combo at the moment. I say, I haven't unpacked my winter wardrobe yet so this is what I get.

I really don't have much to share in terms of this outfit. It's pretty basic. But I do have a lot to share about my really plain beachy waves. Check out this Refinery29 tutorial about how to curl hair properly. Seriously. I always managed but had the feeling I was curling in the wrong direction. This tutorial is clear, concise and easy to do yourself. My hair is a bit thicker than the model's, so separating sections was slightly more challenging (for every section she had, I had three). Once you get the hang of it you can curl your hair and get that great laid back wavy-ness in no time at all.

What I'm wearing - skirt: vintage // sweater: h&m // shoes: swedish hasbeens // necklace: j.crew
