Apple Yogurt Coffee Cake


An apple a day better keep the doctor away, because we are overloaded with them. So, the apple challenge continues.

I used this recipe and it was quite a delicious cake. The only changes I made was lowering the sugar quantity to 1/2 a cup rather than 1 cup and adding whole wheat flour rather than white.

Note, my images have decorative apples on top rather than chunks within the center. Be sure not to do both, as I made that mistake on my first try and it was pretty much a disaster.


Leave the skins on your apples when you slice them, it gives a little more texture. Warm it up and eat with whipping cream or vanilla ice cream, or simple enjoy a slice with a hot cup of tea or coffee.
