Jump if you're Comfortable

It's all about comfort these days, stylish comfort. Now I feel like I really have to explain myself after utter the words "comfort." When I say I'm being comfortable, I mean a flowing long skirt or dress, some sort of easy breezy top and sandals that are cute and usually on the flatter side. I think maybe some people think of leggings and sneakers, or maybe those casual, slouchy, khaki shorts? I'm going to stop there.

There is more to comfort than clothes. It's this huge collaboration. Weather, the exactly right amount of makeup, the perfect hair mood, your plans for the day, etc.

You all know what I mean? There is nothing more nerve wracking than a day that is too chilly for a flowing dress, but too warm for a coat. Especially when you have to go somewhere annoying, like grocery shopping or to some sort of important meeting (haha, who am I kidding, I don't do those) and you brilliantly decide to wear too much mascara (painfully crunchy blinks anyone?), cat eyeliner and, GASP, red lipstick. All the while, your hair is telling you it hates you and is either flying with static or greasy to the point where it feels like it's going to seep into your eyelids (that happens when you don't style your hair right after washing it, I will elaborate on that in another post, another day).

This day, however, was not one of those days. It was pretty comfortable in all aspects. The temperature radiated a subtle warmth into my skin, I got to wear my best 90s mom skirt and the loosest cropped top I own, and I felt perfectly unpractical in these silver clogs that so happened to be low enough that it all worked out.

Hooray! Jump for joy, even if you'll look completely awkward doing so. And don't be surprised that I posted three jumping pictures, because, of course I did! Duh.
