Step Into Moorea Seal

Supporting local businesses and creative minds is one of my favorite things. They are the heart and soul of our communities.

Today I had the pleasure to photograph Moorea Seal, a beautiful shop located in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The bright and airy space is filled with a curated selection of accessories, adorable shoes and intricate office goods (think rustic wood pencils, scissors that look like cranes and a wide selection of greeting cards).

The space is inspirational through it's intricately designed aesthetic and plans the owners have in mind for it. Monthly workshops will be held on topics ranging from floral arrangement (a floral headpiece making class in the late summer!) to perfume making and calligraphy classes.

Beyond providing the community with beautiful accessories and style, Moorea Seal's mission is to give back while preserving the design of it's brand as a way to differentiate itself from other stores. Some of the charitable causes the owners and designers are interested in range from women and children's causes to the environment. Each designer gives to the cause they are most passionate about, a breakdown is available on their website.

The space is both elegant and eclectic making it impossible to not want to stare at every intricately organized corner.  For this reason alone, I could not decide on a select few photographs.

How gorgeous are these bracelets?!

If you're in the Seattle area and looking for something unique head their way. You will not be disappointed. Also, they have an adorable selection of wide brimmed wool hats for very affordable prices. I know, get out of town.

Look forward to an interview with the shop's founder and co-owner Moorea Seal, coming soon.
