If you don't have a lot of time but still want to create some cute valentines for loved ones, this idea is quick and easy, cute and fun for the little ones.
I like the watercolor style because it ads dimension to whatever it is you are drawing. I went for an 'xoxo' pattern, but hearts would be equally as cute.
If you're feeling extra fancy, like I was, you can watercolor names onto your cards. I think it would be easier with a watercolor pen, but I just went after it with a small brush.
What you'll need:
• watercolor paints
• watercolor paper
• brushes (if you are going to do the names on the cards you'll need a fine tip in addition to the thicker brush)
• Scissors to cut the cards
• Envelopes
• Glass of water
You only need one color (I also used white for the envelopes). Paint your design adding water when you want the pattern to be lighter.
Fun! Simple yet effective way to add some Love :)

ReplyDeleteThese are so cute and simple. I wish I were better with watercolors. I just started using a brush pen but am not that great at it yet either, haha.
